This artist mends broken vessels with rusted wires and scissors (20 Pics)

Glen Martin Taylor, an artist based in Ohio, USA, has been producing stunning porcelain sculptures for the past 8 years. He breaks his pottery and antique ceramics into his unique artworks and then “mends” them with materials that have a deep connection to his past and pain.

“The Japanese art of Kintsugi has inspired me to express the feeling of human brokenness that so many people, including myself, are feeling right now,” the artist wrote in a note to DeMilked.

“The procedure is both therapeutic and healing.” When my work touches other broken people, it creates a healing circle for me,” he added. View some of his amazing works in the gallery below.
